What Colder is

Colder is a subscription that sends you public-record information about newly permitted food-service establishments and related building permits in North Carolina, currently Wake County. It is operated from Raleigh, North Carolina, at 3064 Wake Forest Rd #1217, Raleigh, NC 27609, by the people who run Curb Presence.

The data

Every row comes from a public government dataset: Wake County Environmental Services food-service permits, Wake County building permits, and City of Raleigh building permits. We republish what those records contain and add a link to the source dataset, a chain flag, a segment label, a re-permit label, and our own date of first seeing the record. We do not scrape private websites or social media and we do not buy consumer data.

We publish the establishment phone number as the county publishes it. For food trucks and single-operator stands that number is often a mobile phone belonging to the owner, and we say so in the file. Build-out rows may carry a contractor's business phone. We do not add any information the public record does not contain.

Public records contain errors and gaps. We provide the data as published, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. A building permit is a signal that something is being built, not a promise that a restaurant will open. Verify before you rely on a row. If a source is unavailable on a delivery day we send what we have and say so in the email.

What you may do with it

Use the files inside your own business to find and contact prospects. Share them with your reps. Load them into your CRM. Files we have already sent you are yours to keep using inside your business after you cancel.

You may not resell, republish or redistribute the files or any substantial part of them, or use them to build a competing data product; that restriction survives cancellation. You are responsible for your own compliance when you contact any business or person, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the national and state do-not-call rules, CAN-SPAM, and North Carolina law. If we learn a subscriber is using the data for harassment, fraud or spam, we cancel the subscription without refund.

Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds

Plans bill monthly by card through Stripe and renew until you cancel. Cancel by replying to any file or emailing hello@coldersales.com; billing stops the same business day and you keep access through the period you paid for. Unsubscribing from email on its own does not cancel billing unless the confirmation page says it did; if it did not, write to us and we cancel it the same day.

If the first paid file is not worth it to you, tell us within seven days of receiving it and we refund that month; the refund ends the subscription. Later months are not refunded. We give thirty days' notice by email before any price change, and it never applies to a month you have already paid for.

Free sample

When you request the free sample we send you the current openings file and, about a week later, one follow-up email with what came in since. You will not hear from us again unless you subscribe, ask a question, or request another sample. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately. One sample per address per month.

Privacy

We collect the email address, company and role you give us, the date and content of what we send you, and a salted hash of your IP address used only to prevent abuse of the sample form. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them. Email is delivered through Brevo, the site and its database run on Cloudflare, and the sample form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone, and we use it only to send you what you asked for and answer you. Ask us to delete your record at any time by emailing hello@coldersales.com.

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Liability, law and changes

Our total liability for any claim relating to Colder is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or lost business. These terms are governed by North Carolina law, and any dispute is heard in the state or federal courts sitting in Wake County, North Carolina. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell subscribers by email first.
