Colder

Colder is a product of Territory Book, operated from Raleigh, North Carolina, at 3064 Wake Forest Rd #1217, Raleigh, NC 27609. Colder is the name on your card statement.

What you are buying

A monthly subscription with a monthly allowance of rows (Caller: 250; Closer: 600; Team: 1,200), or a one-time pull of 150 rows. You spend the allowance in lists of 25 to 150 rows, any play, any territory. A list reserves its rows while it builds; when it finishes, only the rows that shipped count. Unused rows do not carry over; one-time rows do not expire while the account is open. Record lists are built by a program the moment they are saved; site lists are built usually within a few hours, always within 24 hours. You may cancel at any time by emailing hello@coldersales.com from the address on the account; the subscription ends at the close of the current billing period. If the first list is not worth it, tell me within seven days of it arriving and I refund that month. A row found wrong within seven days is replaced.

Where the data comes from

Two kinds of source. Public records, as filed: the FMCSA Company Census (USDOT registrations, with the phone the carrier filed on its MCS-150), the CMS National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (organizations that received an NPI, with the practice phone and the authorized official's title as filed, and the official's name except where noted below), state and county open data (food-service permits and pre-opening inspections from county and city health departments, with the phone on the record; contractor licences from state licensing boards, with the phone, trade and bond as filed; child-care licences from state licensing agencies, with the phone and capacity as filed). And, for site rows, business names, categories, locations, phone numbers and websites from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database License; everything else on a site row comes from loading the business's own public homepage in a browser and recording what is on it. No consumer data is bought or sold. Nothing is taken from Google, forums or social media.

Names on rows

Some rows carry a natural person's name: the authorized official on an NPPES record, or a carrier, contractor or home-based child-care operation whose licensee is a person (a sole proprietor, included only when you switch them on). Those rows are marked, and the filed number may be that person's own phone. For records in California, Texas, Vermont and Oregon the official's name is not shipped; the row carries the title instead, and a link to the public record.

How you may call

Call the businesses on a list at the number on the row, for your own business purposes, by hand. You agree not to use an automatic telephone dialing system, a prerecorded or artificial voice, or a text message to any number on a list; to honor a do-not-call request the moment you hear it; and to follow the telemarketing and do-not-call rules of your state and the called party's state. Business-to-business calls are generally exempt from the federal do-not-call registry under 16 CFR 310.6(b)(7); that exemption does not extend to sellers of nondurable office or cleaning supplies, and it is not a defense under the TCPA. You may not resell a list, publish it, or use it for consumer marketing. Colder never sends a text, an email or an automated call to a business on your behalf.

Accuracy

A record row is the government record as published on the date shown, unchanged. A site row is decided by a program from what was on the homepage at the time it was loaded, and re-checked from a second machine. Records and sites change; a business may add the thing after the check. Every row carries its evidence and a link so you can verify before you dial. If the first list is not worth it, tell me within seven days of it arriving and I refund that month. A row found wrong within seven days is replaced.

Your data

Your email, name, company and the lists you build are stored so the service can run. Sign-in is by emailed link; no password is stored. Statuses and notes you enter on rows stay in your account. A first-party count of page and portal views is kept, with no cookies beyond the sign-in session. Email hello@coldersales.com to have everything deleted.
